TECHNOLOGICAL OPERATIONS


At the implementation stage, we exactly define all the technological operations relevant to the enterprise.

RESOURCES AND COMPETENCES


We enter the resources into the system, both employees and machines (workstations). For each resource we define the related technological operations, while for each operation related to a resource we define its quality and efficiency parameters.

AVAILABILITY SCHEDULE

We define a Task Schedule for employees and an Availability Schedule for machines and workstations.

PRODUCTION ORDERS

We enter production orders into the system, and for each of them we define the materials and the technology required in the form of subsequent technological operations, whose timeline we define as well.

TERMS AND PRIORITIES


For each production order, we define the required duration and priority.

DYNAMIC SCHEDULING AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT


The system will individually and directly manage the available resources in such a way as to process the orders while making best use of the time of available resources for all directly-related production activities. The system optimises the maximum amount of work related to "bottlenecks" on an ongoing basis. Planning updates and optimisation is carried out automatically after each event (e.g. task assignment, finishing a task, entering a new order, changing order duration, machine breakdown, etc.), which takes no longer than 5 seconds.

TASK ASSIGNMENT


IPOsystem individually assigns tasks (orders) to all employees in the production area through the Task Terminal. The Task Terminal consists of a proximity card reader [1], a touch screen [2] and a Job Card printer [3].

ASSIGNING TASKS TO EMPLOYEES

Logging in of an employee on a particular day and the assignment of the first task


An employee receives the first task automatically after logging into the system at the beginning of the shift. The first login for a particular day is confirmation that the employee has arrived at work. IPOsystem always assigns tasks sequentially, so each employee/team logged into the Task Terminal has ONE task, optimal for that given moment.

Task completion


The system will not assign another task to an employee until they finish the current task logged in the Task Terminal. For this purpose, after logging in and displaying the current task, they complete it in the system. The system may require the employee to enter additional information concerning, for example, the number of pieces made, deficiencies, problems, etc.

Assigning subsequent tasks


After marking a task as completed in the Task Terminal, the system will automatically assign the next SINGLE, optimal at the given moment, task (the next Job Card) to the employee/team, within approximately 5 seconds.





In this way, the system manages the work of all employees throughout the entire shift.

Production managers and employees do not make any individual decisions related to the type of task and the sequence of its realisation.

The time required for breaks at work (e.g. a breakfast break) is also determined and managed by the system, which also records any exceeding of this time.

IPOsystem saves all information concerning the production process realisation (resources used for particular technological processes, task times, finished amounts, deficiencies and errors, quality control results, etc.). On their basis and on the basis of the time standards and scheduling algorithms, IPOsystem enables the creation of analyses series concerning, for example, the quality of particular resource tasks, production process profitabilities, products and customers as well as providing data enabling substantial increases in the entire production area efficiency.
